Clean-Me-Up Super Bowls!

My husband reminded me a couple of weeks ago that Super Bowl was coming up and that I better start thinking of our menu for the day. My husband absolutely LOVES football. I detest it. I do, however, LOVE Super Bowl. Why? You may ask. Because it means the end of the football season….can I get a HALLELUIAH!?!

So, on I hopped to the internet to search for some ideas. I googled ‘Super Bowl Food’ and clicked images.

Why must all the food be deep-fried, oozing fat, make you wanna pop your button kind of food?!?! I tried searching ‘Healthy Super Bowl Food’ and did not have much more success. Seems veggie trays are about all people think to serve as a healthy option….So, I thought I would go through my archive of recipes and present you all with options that I would serve at a Super Bowl Party that are healthier, clean options than say…a deep-fried jalapeño popper or a triple cheese spinach dip (C’mon! You are not fooling anyone by throwing spinach in there…).

Homemade guacamole is the way to go! This is one of the healthiest dips you can serve. Use organic corn chips or fresh veggies and enjoy this creamy goodness!
